Team Two

Anime Family Feud

Overview

  • Two teams of players.

  • Each team competes to guess the most popular answers to anime-related questions based on a survey of anime fans (weebs).

  • Our host moderates the game, asking questions and revealing answers on a board.

Setup

  • Questions: There will a set of anime-themed questions with multiple popular answers.

  • Scoreboard: There will be a board to display the top answers and points.

  • Host and Teams: One person acts as the host, and two teams take turns answering.

Gameplay

  • Face-Off Round:

    • The host calls one player from each team to the podium.

    • The host asks a question (e.g., "Which anime has the best opening song?").

    • The players quickly answer, trying to guess the most popular response.

    • The player with the higher-ranked answer decides if their team will "play" or "pass."

  • Team Play:

    • The playing team takes turns guessing answers, aiming to uncover all the top responses.

    • If they provide three incorrect answers ("strikes"), the opposing team has a chance to steal.

  • Steal Opportunity:

    • The opposing team discusses and gives one collective answer.

    • If their answer appears on the board, they steal the points. If not, the playing team keeps their points.

  • Scoring:

    • Points are based on the popularity of the answers.

Rounds

  • Include double and triple points rounds to increase intensity.

  • Questions can vary, such as:

    • "Who is the best anime mentor?"

    • "Name an anime character with spiky hair."

    • "Which anime villain was right?"

Fast Speed Round (Final Round)

  • One player from each team answers five questions rapid-fire within a time limit.

  • Answers are scored based on popularity, and the team with the most total points wins.
