Ashika-con is a weekend-long event made for fans of anime, cosplay, video games, sci-fi, tabletop games, comics, and pop culture. If you love TV shows, movies, Esports, or dressing up as your favorite characters—this is the place for you!

Originally launched in Newport in 2025, the event began as a “new convention” for local fans. It later expanded into Chinook Winds Casino, which focused more on providing a larger space to host Asian pop culture. In 2024, four individuals decided to bring something awesome to the Coast.Now, in 2026, the event enters a fresh new location as Ashika-con—still dedicated to celebrating fandom in all its forms, with a strong focus on anime, comic books/merch, cosplay, and gaming.
